West Linn High School is a four-year public high school located in West Linn, Oregon, a rural area of Clackamas County. 19 percent of students are minority and 11 percent are economically disadvantaged. The school places great emphasis on the premise that all students can lead and that academic excellence is expected.
More than 20 AP courses are offered with several that offer dual credits from Clackamas Community College. 74 percent of students at West Linn High School take the AP exam.
West Linn High School participates in the Advanced College Credit (ACC) program, a cooperative educational effort between high schools and colleges to offer college-level courses for students to receive pre-approved college credit for some classes currently taught in high schools. The courses are taught by approved, qualified high school teachers. Students are eligible for the college credit if they complete the course curriculum as approved by the college.
